Chinese Mixed Pickles
Pickling Liquid
3 cups granulated sugar
3 cups white vinegar
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
Incorporate all elements in 3-quart pan. Prepare and stir over medium heat till liquid boils. Get rid of from heat; cool.

3 huge carrots
